A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Joe Igbokwe, has declared himself a fan of Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid.
The stauch supporter of President Bola Tinubu, while relating his reason for becoming a fan of Wizkid described the singer as a patriotic Nigerian over a statement he attributed to him.
Igbokwe claimed that Wizkid recently said, “I am for Nigeria and I am for Africa that’s my root and I’ll promote it with every opportunity I gat. What you see on tv about Nigeria/Africa is not all there is, it is far better than that.”
Recall that the politician had earlier slammed singer Davido over his comment that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles.
Reacting to the statemt he attributed to Wizkid, Igbokwe wrote on Facebook, “Na here we de now. If you love Nigeria we will love you back. If you hate Nigeria we will not work with you . Dazzol.” (sic)
