It is alleged that John Dumelo has been forced by the police to pay a woman he was owning a huge amount of money. The report said that John was reported to the police when he failed to fulfill his own part of the  deal.

The GHC30,000 he had collected in good faith ended exposing him. The actor, who was alleged to have gotten engaged secretly was in a relationship with the lady when the money was collected.

She claimed that he was supposed to marry her this year before fell out with each other. She also listed how John borrowed the money over three years  in a police statement. It totaled GHC40, 000 but she said, according to the report, that Dumelo had already paid GHC10,000.

However, she went as far as saying that the money was more than that but she couldn’t remember how he collected the rest from her.
