Nominees for the 2015 edition of the Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) have been unveiled by organisers of the prestigious event.
AIFF 2015 award ceremony is expected to take place on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Silverbird Cinema in Abuja.
Several entries were received from about 39 countries across the globe for the 12th edition of the festival.
The nominees were selected after a thorough two weeks screening more than 700 films.
For the Outstanding Male Actor categories, Gijs Scholten Van Asciolat, Artyom Bistrov, Jackie Chan, Olarewaju Omiyinka (Baba Ijesha), IK Ogbonna, Seun Akindele and Muyiwa Ademola will fight for glory, while Mercy Aigbe, Kiki Omeili, Hilda Dokubo, Ini Edo and Chidebere Aneke will slug it out in the Outstanding Actress category.

For the Outstanding Film in Documentary category, The Ukrainian, Common Man – Nigeria, Dreadlocks – USA, Festival of Marriage – Inida and Happiness Promised Land – France got nominated.
Outstanding Film in Animation category has Sango and Friends – Nigeria, Pate – Poland and Adventure of Turtle Taido – Nigeria.
