Nigerian singer J’odie who was very popular for dropping her hit song kuchi kuchi has finally opened up on her divorce with her husband on a live TV show monitored by Nigeriafilms.

J’odie was married on 31st of October 2015 to David Nnaji but the marriage never lived up to the expectation of the singer.

J’odie whom real name is Joy Odiete Eseoghene got married to her manager after she got pregnant for him.

According to her it was a thing of joy when she was pregnant for david and he wanted to marry her.

After the marriage, they lived together for sometimes, but the marriage was never up to a year.

Before the first wedding anniversary the marriage was already heading to doom as on 21st of October 2016, ten days to the first anniversary her husband had walked away from the marriage.

J’odie said that at that point the rumors of her scatters marriage was flying around, she couldn’t accept it although it was true; she never wanted a divorce and she couldn’t believe she was going to be divorced.

She refused stating the main reason why the marriage only ended up in a divorce as she insisted it was between two families and it is better it remains private than take it to the public eye.

J’odie also went on to advise many young ladies who are desperately and beckoning to be married that they shouldn’t just jump into any marriage.

Look well and pray about it even when many people feel Nigerian are just too spiritual, saying that when you just jump into marriage you may not know what is really in stock for you at that home; “take your time to know the family you are going into” was one of her words.
