Iyabo Ojo vows to stand by Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi until…
Popular Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has vowed to stand by Omowunmi, the widow of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad until she is proven guilty of having a hand in the death of her husband.
Ojo, who has backed the widow since the controversial death of her husband on September 12, 2023, maintained that only the law is capable of declaring Wunmi guilty, emphasising that it is at that point she would stop supporting the widow.
The movie star further urged those pointing accusing fingers at Wunmi to forward their evidence to the authorities to help prosecute the widow.
Ojo said, “A lot of people are angry that I’m supporting Wunmi. There is no concrete evidence that she is guilty. Until the law proves her guilty, I will continue to support her.
“If they like, they should drag and curse me. I will not stop being nice to her. Until the judge says otherwise with evidence, proof beyond every reasonable doubt.
“Also, everyone who has said they have evidence should take it to the right authorities. I don’t make social media judgements; there are laws in the country.”
