I’ve got my problems, Funke Akindele reacts to claims of neglecting late Adejumoke Aderounmu
Popular actress, Funke Akindele, has reacted to allegations that she ignored late actress, Adejumoke Aderounmu during her trying times.
Aderounmu died during the weekend over an undisclosed ailment.
After her demise, Adeola, the brother of Aderounmu, popularly known for her feature in the hit series Jenifa’s Diary, called out Akindele for not rendering help to his sister when she was alive.
Since the revelation, netizens have continued to react both positively and negatively towards the star actress.
Breaking her silence, Akindele, who was in tears, said she tried to reach Aderounmu but Adeola ignored her messages.
She added that she was also going through a lot, ranging from her mother’s death, to her marriage dissolution and political loss.
“Do not forget I’ve got my trying moments too. During COVID-19, remember my mom passed on. Politics, I was backlashed. Marriage, remember. Somebody now said ‘you will lose your children’, I think that is too much.
“I’m here trying to relax, rest and get my life together. I sent a message to that guy, Jumoke’s brother, he saw it, he didn’t reply. I explained to him that I didn’t hear what she was going through,” Akindele said in a live video.
