Popular gospel singer Nikki Laoye shocked many when she made the switch to circular songs.

While some really appreciated her new act some had lashed out at her for joining artiste who originally started as Gospel artiste and later switched to circular songs.

In self defense, the singer has classified her type of songs as ‘Life song’ which she elaborated saying she sings all shades of songs that depicts love and glorifies God.

In her words: “I am just a child of god making sure that all Christians have all types of song for everyday activities. Even though we are born again Christians, we are still normal human beings living normal day life.”

Explaining more, she said: “Gospel Music isn’t one side; it’s not all about praise and worship music alone. I’m only expressing all I have been giving the strength to do. I do Temple music, Outreach music and everyday music.”
