Today marks the third wedding anniversary of Peter Okoye and his wife Lola Omotayo Okoye of popular P Square as Lola takes to instagram to wish her husband happy wedding anniversary.
The mother of two did not forget to appreciate her loving husband noting that although her marriage to him has not been all rosy but she still loves him greatly.
She wrote,” It is not easy being married to a musician as people only see the glamorous side of this life but refuse to realize that you are a human being first with feelings and needs just as any one else,” she says, adding, “I see the non-glamorous side of you and still love you as you come. I love you!”
“The couple have been together for 11 years but tied the knots in 2013. Lola notes how he puts his family first by caring for their children – Cameron and Aliona and treating her ‘like a lady’.
“I am happy to say that we are now best friends besides everything else,” she continued. “I have learned to listen and respect you more and you have learned to appreciate me as I am. I thank you for treating me like a lady and for always being there for me.”
