Ice Prince took to his Twitter handle on Friday, September 16, to celebrate his freedom from confinement
Popular Nigerian rapper, Panshak Zamani better known as Ice Prince has taken to social media to speak for the first time since his release from prison.
On September 2, Lagos police spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin announced on his official Twitter handle that the rapper was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer
His tweet read, “At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.
“He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”

Ice Prince was later arraigned before a court that granted him bail. He was subsequently released from the Nigerian correctional centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Thursday. September 8.
Confirming his release a day later, the rapper’s lawyer Folarin Dalmeida said, “His bail conditions have been met, and he was released yesterday (Thursday),”
Making a statement since his release, the rap star took to his Twitter handle on Friday, September 16, to celebrate his freedom from incarceration.
He tweeted, “Freedom is priceless,”
