I started content creation because I was hungry – Shankcomics
Popular content creator, Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel aka Shankcomics, has revealed why he joined the entertainment industry.
The comedian explained that it was joblessness and hunger that led him into becoming a content creator.
Asked why he joined the entertainment industry, Shankcomics said, “To be honest, I would say Hunger. I was funny from school but I didn’t know I could take that as a career till I finished university, served as a Nigerian Corper and have no job. I had to make ends meet then I started making video. Glory be to God that I’m here today, it has not been easy but I’m grateful. Heads up always.
“I just knew I was going to be rich and famous. I didn’t know how. At some point I thought I was going to become an engineer but that was never to be.”
Furthermore, the YouTuber believes his strength lies in the uniqueness of his brand of comedy which is rather uncommon and loved by people.
“I’m different. I make completely abstract comedy sketches. From my name, my videos are like comics. Lately, my youtube videos have differentiated me from most. It’s real, unscripted, and spontaneous..
“I dont have a favorite videob becaus3 alll my videos are good. I try to be better than my previous post. I’m very hard on myself. I better not post than do something that is not on my own standard. I’m in competing myself, literally,” he added.
