Nigerian gospel singer evangelist Amaka Okwuoha popularly called Chioma Jesus hails from Imo state, Nigeria.
Unfortunately Chioma Jesus lost both father and mother at a tender age, leaving seven children with her as the eldest among them. She is married to Evangelist Calistus Okwuoha and they are blessed with wonderful children.
Initially the marriage was not groovy has they were held in poverty. According to her testimony she said that she roamed the street begging for food to eat and feed her children. She also said that sometimes she will have to collect rice on credit, borrow oil, salt and other seasoning to help her feed her family.
In her recent photo on instagram, the evangelist has come to inspire people never to give up on their dreams that the journey may be rough but never let go. “One day, you will disgrace that ‘thing’ disgracing you, just be patient.”
The singer said that in 2018 alone her foundation has given out more than 5oo bags of rice to the less privileged.
”This 2018 is your year of abundance……brethren 17 years ago I use to buy 2 cups of rice on credit to make sure my family have something to eat at times I will back my son on Sunday looking for where to go so that my son can eat rice i borrow red oil, Maggi, and pepper etc to make sure we have food on the table but since 5 years now I have been the one sharing bags of rice to widows and the less privileged ones…..as you can see me in this picture I was trying to climb on top of those rice so that I can match on the rice that disgraced me years ago but my people would not allow me chaii thank you Jesus…. in this 2018 alone “CHIOMA JESUS CHARITY FOUNDATION” shared about 500 bags of rice to people, my beloved just be patience with your God in a little time He will visit you and your story will change type Amen…… #Jehovahthestorychanger,” she wrote.
