Yoruba actress, Biodun Okeowo, would not just be left alone to have a glass of water as rumours continue to trail her after venturing into business just like some of her colleagues in the industry.

Despite how booming the Nigerian make-belief industry is, some don’t still believe that the actress actually used her hard earned money to establish herself as it has been rumoured that her business was being financed by a top politician in the country.

The lovely thespian explained to Punch that she had opened her beauty parlour and cosmetics store through the money she has made from acting and does not have any secret financier anywhere.

“Can they just tell me the name of the politician because I don’t even have any politician as a friend? People are just peddling carry such rumours, no politician sponsored me to open the shop. I financed it from my sweat. And there is this belief in Yoruba that if you do a business from your own sweat, it will be more beneficial and profitable. So, it’s a rumour.”
