Nigerian songstress Simisola Bolatito Ogunleye popularly known as Simi has shred of comparisons between her and queen of afro-soul music Asa.
Well this comparison was between Simi and one of her fan who had claimed that because of her the popular music icon Asa is nowhere to be found.
But Simi has issued that she is not on the same level with Asa, that Asa will always be a queen, the only thing that can be done is making another throne and crown for her.
Asa is a crowned queen for her exploits in the Afro-Soul genre music; she has distinguished herself through her messages and soul lifting music.
Simi’s expository artistry is fast gaining acceptance as that of a special music talent.
The two artistes are great in their various fields and have been able to stamp their names in the sand of time through their music prowess.
What Simi did is very rare to see from various other artistes as she has shown respect to someone that is her senior in the business.
Simi is from the Yoruba ethnic group, there are well known for paying respect to anyone that is their elder.
