Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga better known as MI, in a recent chat, disclosed that he has no plan of going into politics in the nearest future. In recent times, entertainers have found love in the ‘dirty game’ of politics.
At the last electoral process, most of them indicated their interest to delve into politics, but only few made it.
MI, who sees himself as a source of inspiration to other musicians, when asked how he feels listening to other artistes take part of his lines to sing in their songs, defended such actions, stressing that it is not theft as some would have expected him to call it.
“Have you ever heard your lines stolen by a co-rapper before?” MI was asked and he responded, “Not stolen, but I have definitely inspired many. As I was also inspired by others.”
He further said rather than allow other people to write his songs, he would choose to share ideas but would still choose to write his songs himself.
When asked why he is yet to reveal his girlfriend just like his label mates; Ice Prince and Jesse Jagz, the rapper said when the time comes for him to do so, he will do.
