At the early stage of Nigerian music, Anthonia Yetunde Alabi, aka Sasha was sitting at the top of the food chain as she was seen as the undisputed queen of Nigerian hip hop.
Today, with changing trends and the emergence of younger talent, Shasha’s name is gradually slipping into the dark corners of Nigerian music industry.
Recently, the fierce lyricist was spotted in Lagos recently and when reporters accosted her for some questions to know what she is up to she said she does not have anything to say.

“I really don’t have anything to say. If I have anything to say to the media, I know the proper channels through which I can pass the message across. I have a right to my privacy and I hope you would respect that.”
When asked if she isn’t bothered that her silence may make her name to be forgotten, she said, “Whatever I do with my life is my business. I am not the kind of person who wants to always be in the news. I prefer to let my actions speak for me.”

The former Trybes Records signee, who was looking radiant, however shared a bit about how she has been able to maintain her good looks, “I really don’t do anything special, other than the fact that I make sure I exercise moderation in everything I do. I endeavour to eat well and not bother myself about things that I cannot change.”
