‘I dreamed of making money, not getting married’ – Nancy Isime
Unlike so many others, Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has revealed that as a girl, she didn’t dream of getting married, she always thought of making money as she grew older.
In a recent interview, Isime noted that she did not see marriage as a poverty alleviation scheme, suggesting that it was the reason her brand name is a big deal in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The movie star restated her commitment to work and make money for herself as against depending on the male figures in her life.
“I’m actually scared of the limelight. When young girls used to sit down and dream about getting married, I never did.
“I used to dream of working and making money. I can spend on myself so much that another person cannot take the position of if it is not me, you won’t have this life,” she stated.
