Top Nigerian female cinematographer and TV host, Kemi Adetiba, did not just take after father Dele Adetiba, in the media world, who is also a veteran in advertising and broadcast industries but she has been able to carve a strong niche for herself.
Striving to make a strong impact through the lens in the industry, Kemi, has put it clear in a recent interview with pulse that she is not intimidated by her male counterparts who have been domineering the industry for long.
She stated that the reason she is confident on her job is because she did not make the choice of having an affair with anyone to attain the height she has gotten to.
In her words, “If I’m being intimidated by my male counterpart, then I will not be where I am today. I did not pay or sleep with anyone to get to where I am today. One of those deep things my mum taught me from the very beginning was that, when you work, you have to work harder than the next person. That way, you can be rest assured you will make it.”
