Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo has revealed how deeply she was hurt when she learnt that her ex-husband paid dowry to the new wife he married.
Okeowo said that she shed tears because the ex-husband did not pay her pride price even when he family members were urging him to do so, he turned deaf ears.
Contrary to public belief that she was sent out of the house on the ground of infidelity, she said he has never cheated on her ex-husband.
Speaking during a recent interview, she said she had found true love again.
“I am not married. But when I do it is going to be very discreet, I am deeply in love. But I haven’t tied the knots yet. But very soon I will and it is going to be very private.”
She confessed having no regrets after breaking with her ex-husband. “I don’t regret leaving my ex. In fact, I don’t feel anything for him anymore.
“No pains and no regrets. He tried to get us back but I just couldn’t. The only day I felt bad and cried was the day I heard he had remarried, that he actually paid someone else’s bride price because in my case, my family members were begging him to come and pay mine.”
