A father, Rasak Adekoya, who allegedly beat his 10-year-old son, Wariz, to death, is currently cooling his head in a police cell.
He has killed his son on Tuesday, October 11, because he stole mobile phones at a party.
Adekoya said he never intended to kill his son but the deceased brought him shame by stealing the mobile phones at a party, as well as money belonging to his stepmother
Oyeyemi, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, said, “The corpse has been deposited at St. Joseph Catholic Hospital Mortuary, Oke-Agbo, Ijebu-Igbo, for autopsy.
“As soon as investigation is concluded, the suspect will be arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction
