Ace Nigerian comedian, Julius Agwu, quoting famous late Indian activist, Mahatma Gandhi, ‘the future depends on what you do today,’ explained that people should not blame some of his colleagues who have delved into politics.
According to him, hunger pushed some of his colleagues into politics, pointing out that actions of today is a reflection of what the future holds.
“I do not blame my entertainment ‘colleagues’ who want to grab what they can in Abuja because there’s hunger in the land. But while you are at it; do not ponder on this: the future depends on what you do today…Ghandhi,” he said.
Recall that the comedian had wanted to give politics a trial when he said he was hoping to contest in the Rivers State governorship election in 2015, but later claimed his mother kicked against his political ambition.
