A father-of-five identified as Victor Okon has been arrested for stealing a bunch of unripe plantain in Afaha Atai, Akwa Ibom State.

Okon was handcuffed and taken away by the police in their vehicle with the stolen plantain tied to a motorcycle which seems to belong to him.

The present economic situation has made it more difficult for the poor to feed their family. As the hope for a better economy is waning by the day.
