Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie , has successfully inked his name into the annals of Nigeria’s democratic history by becoming the first Nigerian entertainer to emerge as a gubernatorial candidate for a major political party in Nigeria .
Yul Edochie, who looks set to eclipsed his father’s fame as an actor and an entertainer was bestowed with the honor when, Democratic People Congress pronounced him their flag bearer in the fourth coming Anambra State Gubernatorial election.

He share his joy in theses words,” And I won the party primaries today to become the flag bearer of the DPC. DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S CONGRESS.
I give God almighty all the glory.
I thank everyone who made it possible. And to all who have placed their hopes and trust in me, I will not let you down.
Its time for the youths, time for the masses.
