Nollywood actress and model, Maureen Okpoko, might not be new to many but her face sure rings a bell in some popular TV series and movies.

The actress has featured in movies like, Cat of Darkness, Lady Gaga, Fazebook Babes, Mr. President, Ill Conscience, and TV series: Dear Mother, Living in Lagos, A Love like Ours, Tinsel, Daughters of Eve, and more.

In a recent interview, while recalling her past incident as a celebrity, the actress stated that she was once embarrassed at popular Balogun market in Lagos after a guy had shouted her name in the market.

She explained that had gone to the market to buy some things when the guy who has watched some of her movies identified her and screamed her name which attracted people to her.

“The day I went to the market, Balogun market to be precise. A guy saw me and shouted my name and everybody surrounded me. I was transfixed to the spot,” she said.
