How I felt when I made my first N50m – Rema

Afrobeat singer, Rema has disclosed how he felt when he earned his first N50 million.

According to the “Calm Down” crooner, he was calm and thoughtful when he received his first big paycheck.

In a recent interview, the Benin-born singer said he didn’t let the excitement of earning a big check get the better of him as he remained composed.

Instead, he chose to use the money to show appreciation for his loved ones, especially his mother and the church.

Rema revealed that he bought a car for his mother and musical instruments for a church, demonstrating gratitude and commitment to giving back.

“When I made my first N50 million, I was not freaked. I got my mum a car and I bought instruments for the church,” Rema said.
