Popular music video director, Mathew Abiodun Aina better known as Mattmax, has dispelled rumours from some quarters that he is a cultist due to the kind of videos he directs.
Mattmax, who is the brain behind Olamide’s 2013 video, ‘Voice on the Street’ and Vector’s ‘King Kong’ remix, in a recent interview stated that what he does is all about creativity.
He explained that he is a devoted Christian and prays as well be only does things that will bring out that creativity in him and make people talk.
“I’m working on a Horror movie and I’m taken my time because I believe I don’t have to rush things. I like it to come out in a way that won’t scare people and to also portray creativity.
I’m a Christian and I pray and I believe in God. People mistake creativity from the normal thing they see. I’m only being creative in all those videos that does not mean I’m occultic, I believe in God and I pray. Most of the things I do is just creativity, something artistic, something that will make people talk,” he told HipTv.
