Nigerian actress, and Oxfam humanitarian ambassador, Bimbo Akintola, says the living conditions of internally displaced persons in North east Nigeria are deplorable as she declared that both adults and children eat only once a day.
The actress turned humanitarian ambassador lamented the situation and concluded that every Nigerian and Nigeria has failed these helpless people. “In Nigeria; humans are expendable, I agree that the military is doing its best to fight the insurgence but that is not enough reason for these people to be abandoned. You hear a lot of noise about things being taken to them but it is just some of these things that get there.

I have heard people say IDPs eat three times a day but that is not true; because these people, both adult and children eat only once.
