The Head Teacher of the Local Education Authority (LEA) Science Primary School Nuku, Abaji Area Council, Mr Emmanuel A. Onwukwe, has lamented over the shabby state of the classrooms in the community.
He said this during the school’s graduation and prize giving day for the outgoing primary six pupils.
He noted that there are factors that are really affecting the school such as pipe borne water and lack of parameter fence as he called on the management of the FCT Universal Basic Education Board to proffer solution and make the environment a conducive place for learning.
Onwukwe furthered that the school has produced radiant and brilliant students that are in different junior secondary schools in the area.
“The pupils have also participated in different competitions and won several prizes in Abuja,” he said.
The head teacher commended the Secretary of Local Education Authority (LEA) in the area, Dr Hassan Suleiman, Parents Teachers Association of the school and the school’s management committee for their contributions to the success of the school.
