Hardship: Return to your deities, Yul Edochie advises
Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has proferred a solution to the chaos in Nigeria.
In a post made on Facebook, the self-acclaimed pastor urged people to return to their deities to end the predicament in the country.
He wrote, “Our society is in chaos today because we have abandoned our own ways which makes us great and powerful and embraced the white man’s ways which has weakened us.
“A murderer can hire a good lawyer and get away with murder. Bring that murderer to swear before a Deity (Alusi) he will confess the truth immediately or lose his life.
“If you want any political office holder never to embezzle public funds, let him take his oath of office before the Deity in his village, fear no go let am chop people money.
“If 2 people are fighting over who owns a particular plot of land, the case could last over 3yrs in court. Take the case to the Deity in their village, and the truth will come out the same day.
“If you take any case to Alusi and your hands are not clean, the Deity will destroy you that brought the case. The fear of Alusi kept our society clean and safe back in the days. We foolishly allowed Oyibo people to convince us that Alusi is evil.
“Alusi is not evil. Alusi is against evil. Alusi fights evil. Alusi acknowledges God Almighty. If we don’t go back to our traditional ways urgently, our society will continue to deteriorate and we’ll never achieve our full potentials as a people.”
