Unknown gunmen suspected to be militants abducted the vice principal of Model College, Igbonla, Police in Lagos state reports.
Aside the principal, the kidnappers also took some of the college students away but two among the victims managed to escape.
According to the police public relation officer in the state, Dolapo Badmos said: “The vice principal and four students of the college were abducted by gunmen.
“They invaded the school in the Epe area of the state at about 8am on Thursday.
“We have been able to recover two of the students but the vice principal and two students are still with the kidnappers, who rode away with them in their speed boat.
“We swiftly deployed crack detectives and our men have launched a manhunt for them in creeks and the waters, in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy.”
