Contrary to the tale hovering around, spiritual father of talented gospel singer,Tope Alabi,Pastor Ireti Ajanaku of Christ Revival Victory Chapel International,Ayobo,Lagos, has denied being arrested by the police over a N2.5 million fraud, adding that it’s not only fictitious but malicious.
Reacting to the tale on behalf of the Gbongan,Osun State born preacher of the word, his media person,Akin Shokoya expressed total dismay, labeling those behind it as cheap blackmailers.
He further described the tale as baseless.
The truth is that the issue started with a couple of church elders, who decided to break away from the ministry.
They were about eleven. They felt the only way out was to tarnish the image of the clergy.
One of them is a plank seller, who once gave the church some planks worth N750,000.But the pastor had already finished the construction of the church, the church now decided to sell the planks.
The man said he would buy the planks from the church for N150,000 and Pastor Ajanaku obliged. When the issue now arose,he wrote a petition against the pastor that he owned him N2.5million.
That’s why Pastor Ajanaku was invited by the police for interrogation. But unfortunately for the group that actually wanted to blackmail the clergy, one of them recorded the details of the meeting where they all resolved to tarnish the image of Pastor Ajanaku.
This was later revealed and they were exposed. They later left the police station secretly when they realized their evil act had been exposed. That was how Pastor Ajanaku was asked to go home
Asked to shed light on the alleged involvement of the gospel singer,Tope Alabi in the matter, here is what he said Tope Alabi was not involved. She only followed Pastor Ajanaku to the station being her spiritual father, that’s all.
