Joanna Olu Ebun Fabikun was born on the 2nd October 1992 and was raised by Her Great aunt in a small city called Milton Keynes in the midlands UK; together they ran a small grocery store selling African food, which built her foundation in business and enterprise.
She is extremely proud of her mixed heritage comprising of a half English, half Irish father and Nigerian mother.
Growing up, Joanna played the Violin and had a keen interest in Netball. In 2012, Joanna lost her mother but the tragedy became her driving force to attain greater things.
Joanna also known as Jojo Lara played the main girl in the video “So Many Tings” by MayD, where she played the role of a slave. This became her debut into acting with over 1.5 million views and also led her to play the lead role of a woman suffering from domestic violence in Patoranking’s video titled ‘Girlie O’.
Miss West Africa UK final took place on Saturday 6th September 2014 in the UK.
