Ivie Okujaye was born on 16 May 1987; she is a Nigerian actress, producer, scriptwriter, dancer, singer and also an activist.
The actress has just welcomed a new baby into the world and she feels so honored to have her baby number two who happens to be a girl.
She shared the good news through her instagram page, and this is what she wrote
“And suddenly, it was nine full months. Pregnancy is beautiful and magical but Kai, it is NINE MONTHS!! Some days were energetically amazing; other days were filled with feeling sick, swollen feet, puffy lips, body changes, hurting ribs, back aches, sleepless nights, nerve pains and so much more. But with every emotional and physical struggle, I got closer & closer to meeting my baby no 2… That little person that is and will always be a part of me, my flesh and blood, my heartbeat, my new meaning of life… Thank you Lord for our perfect little BabyGirl, Ivie is a mummy of Two?!!” she wrote.
Ovie okujaye got married in 2015 to Ezie Egbo, and this is their 2nd child together.
In 2009 she participated and won the Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) reality TV show. She is sometimes called little Genevieve because she resembles actress Genevieve Nnaji. She was awarded Best Young Actor at the 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
She was born in Benin City to a Delta State father and an Edo State mother. She is the last of 5 children. She has often stated that her parents wanted her to study medicine due to the presence of several medical practitioners in her family. She spent the first 10 years of her life in Benin before settling in Abuja. She had her primary education at Our Ladies of Apostle Private School. She attended Queen’s College, Lagos before studying Economics at University of Abuja.
