Funke Akindele raises alarm over fraudster using her details to dupe people
Actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele has accused a yet-to-be-identified fraudster, which she identified simply as Prosper of using her identity to solicit funds.
The filmmaker accused the unknown scammer of using her name and picture to deceive unsuspecting victims into sending money.
Akindele shared a screenshot of the activities of the scammer on her social media account.
In one of the WhatsApp chats shared, the scammer asked a victim to lend him N200,000, promising to repay it the following day.
While warning her fans to be cautious of such scams, Funke wrote, “Pls beware!!! This is not from me!! Prosper!!! E no go prosper for you o!!! Ole!!!”
Furthermore, she advised the public to avoid falling for such fraudulent schemes.
