Funke Akindele knocks troll for body-shaming her, Toyin Abraham

Popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, has blasted a troll for body-shaming her and her former arch-rival, Toyin Abraham.

The troll, with the username, oriretan_honour, had publicly told the actresses to shed weight as they were adding too much fat, to which Funke Akindele frowned at.

Known for trolling popular individuals, oriretan_honour stated that it’s unwise how they are both getting fat and yet feeling unbothered.

However, in her response, which was partly in Yoruba, Akindele likened the troll to a mentally ill man.

The troll wrote, “Funke Akindele, it’s unwise how you’re getting too fat yet feeling unbothered. More unwise not knowing fatness isn’t good for an actress of your kind as it may affect role delivery and prevent directors from contacting characters that need smart, flexible, and fit actresses. Most unwise, many of y’all celebs think getting fat is evidence of good living, forgetting obesity kills and causes discomfort. U & Toyin Abraham need do a lot about weight reduction. U people have changed shape and signature. Hit gym 24hrs. Avoid junk, and limit excess sleeping. Be wise. Don’t be unwise”. (sic)

Replying to him, Funke Akindele appreciated him for the advice and insulted him. She wrote, “Yes sir. Werey Alaso”.

Recall that Akindele and Abraham recently set aside their differences.
