Fundraising for Amaechi Muonagor’s treatment is fraudulent, lady says as she declares actor dead
A lady, Naomi Anulika, has cautioned the general public to stop donating for the treatment of Amaechi Muonagor, as the legendary actor is dead.
Reacting to a video posted on a Nigerian blog soliciting money for the ailing actor, the lady with the Instagram handle, @nahlikaa_, who claimed to be Muonagor’s niece, warned the perpetrators to stop extorting well-meaning Nigerians with his uncle’s health issues even after his demise.
Anulika is, however, not the only one claiming to know for a fact that the actor is no longer alive.
In her comment on the blog, the lady wrote, “This man is freaking dead!!! Stop pushing this narrative trying to score your last scam with his name. Amaechi is dead!”
“Stop playing on this man’s name and legacy and let the public mourn him!” She declared.
The blog had made a post claiming that the actor’s health condition had declined badly and he is soliciting funds to treat himself.
In the post, which was accompanied by a video of the actor on a sick bed, the blog claimed that his health had deteriorated and that he could barely speak but added that he is “appealing for our prayers and financial assistance”.
