After much shelving and procrastinations, Floxy is finally ready to dish out her next single to her fans around the world come Saturday, July 26, 2014.
The single which is titled ‘Are you ready’ had its online release shelved by the singer in solidarity with the kidnapped Chibok girls, leaving it for radio stations alone to play.
Floxy who revealed that she is tired of telling people to wait, said it is time to move on with her musical career having used the waiting period to release a duet titled ‘Crisis’ with her elder brother KozyG as well as a demo video for her debut single, ‘Competition’.
“When the song is played on radio stations, people call me or my producer to ask for the song or a download link, and I’ve lost counts of the number waits I have said; I’m so tired of telling people to wait for the download link.
There are so many good songs in me and if I don’t get this one out, there won’t be room for a fresh thing” she said
‘Are You Read’ which is produced by Somik will mark Floxy’s fourth official single after making her debut with ‘Competition’ in 2013.
Floxy, who performed the single for the first time at MC Ichie’s Comedy Crusade at Enugu State in June, thanked everyone who stood by her in what she referred to as a ‘silent period’.
“People want you to do good music especially when they love you. They want the best from you and somehow I kept many people hanging. I sincerely apologize for that.
I want to thank everyone who had waited patiently for this song through this ‘silent period’, not forgetting radio stations who are holding it down for me, you guys are the reason I walk into the recording boot and I will never disappoint you” She added
