Ever since the news of it been moved to South Africa, Nigerians has been lamenting campaigning all round social media countering against the reality show been shot in South Africa despite the fact that it’s a franchises for Nigeria.
It appears the voices of Nigerians has been heard as the government decided to wade into the issue by ordering an investigation into why it’s been shot in South Africa.
However, Nigerian minster for information and culture, Lai Mohammed has allegedly directed National Broadcasting Commission, (NBC) to investigate why the ongoing Reality Show, Big Brother Nigeria is shot in South Africa.
In his words: “as a country of laws, only the outcome of the investigation will determine our next line of action.”
Meanwhile this action was taken due to the series of calls and text messages Lai Mohammed‘s office has received regarding the issue.
Let’s not also forget that the voice Nigeria was also shot in South Africa thereby creating more jobs opportunity for South Africans and also helping their economy better.
Federal Government has been preaching that the citizens should patronize good and service made in Nigeria, then it would be unfair that what is meant to create job opportunities and better our economic situation is taken away from us also.
