Nigerian Nollywood actress and business woman Mimi Orjiekwe has spoken about fame as the most frustrating matter in her life.
Mimi who walked out from her marriage last year when many people believed she was having a glooming home was heavily criticized by her actions, although she has revealed that she holds no regret towards that aspect as she is hoping of getting a new marriage soon.
Speaking on an interview, Mimi has revealed that Fame is not something she loves, as it has brought many bad things she never wanted in her life to come close to her.
When asked by the interviewer what she considers to be the most frustrating in her life, she said;
“Fame is not a curse for me, but it has exposed me to many things I don’t want in my life. It makes people criticize you and it makes people think they know everything about you. When you see people talking about you, you will be surprised because you don’t even know those things about yourself. But I don’t blame the public; it is the life I have chosen. I am thankful to God as well as acting has opened many doors for me and made me who I am today.” she replied.
Mimi Orjiekwe left her marriage after being pregnant, she gave birth to her baby girl last year after leaving the marriage, and she claims it is the best thing that has ever happened to her.
