Nigerian rapper, Falz, has reacted after the NBC fined a radio station for playing his song “This Is Nigeria”.
We reported earlier today that the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, fined a radio station in Jos N100,000 for playing “This is Nigeria”, a song by rapper, Falz.
According to the NBC, the song is “laced with vulgar lyrics” and as such shouldn’t be played on the radio.

Now, Falz who found the development quite funny, has reacted on Instagram. He first posted the photo below showing NBC’s letter.
He then followed it up with a rather sarcastic comment.
He wrote: “’This is Nigeria. Look how we living now, everybody be criminal’ is apparently a vulgar line”
Nigerians on social media have criticized NBC’s action, with some terming it very unnecessary.
