A Nigerian bride from an Ijaw community Duchess Alexis has revealed that it is the tradition of brides from her area to express sadness during wedding.
This statement was made by Alexis after news of her frowning at her traditional wedding went viral.
The lady, who says she is a professional makeup artist, took to her Facebook page to ”appreciate” bloggers who did not investigate her story before publishing.
“The picture of me frowning on my traditional marriage day just went viral and I’m amazed how people don’t make inquires before posting on their blogs and walls. Smh,” she wrote.
