Advert agencies and other media houses are reportedly owed over N500 million for services rendered to the Imo State Government during the tenure of immediate past Governor of State Chief Ikedi Ohakim.

According to our findings, one particular media house based in Lagos is alleged to have an unpaid invoice of over N150 million for job executed for the erstwhile Imo State Governor.

Our source hinted that the invoices, which were primarily for image laundering and hypes, may remain unpaid going by the stand of Ohakim’s successor Rochas Okorocha who has continued to lament that the former Governor’s profligacy left behind a staggering debt of almost N100 billion.

However, it was gathered that some of the media houses allowed the debt profile to build up because they were optimistic that Ohakim was going to return for a second term in office.
