Pretty Nollywood actress, Shirley Igwe, has shocked many as she took out time to wish her former boss, Governor of Imo state, Governor Rochas Okorocha, a happy birthday.

Those who are in the know will recall that the pretty actress had worked with the governor for a while before she decided to leave her post as the protocol officer to the governor to face her acting career which was very demanding just like her political job.

Shirley while carrying out her political duties did not escape the prying eyes of many who had various wrong perceptions about her closeness with the governor but she never allowed that get to her because she understood what was brewing between them which many never knew until recently.

During the governor’s 54th birthday celebration which was held recently, the actress disclosed that the reason why she was very close to the governor was that he stood by her during the burial of her late father and that alone made her see another father in him which many failed to understand.
