Long standing Nollywood actress, Cassandra Odita, says she is still very much into Nollywood though movie script no longer flow in her direction like they use to. Odita, popularly called Mother –in-Law by her teaming fans had an exclusive chart with Nigeriafilms.com .
When we ask her why she no longer feature in movies as regularly as she use to, she explained in these words “well, I will take it that you hardly watch your television; because I featured prominently in the current “Super Story” series running on various networks in Nigeria and just left Funke Akindele’s set of Jenifa’s Diary and I have participated in a couple of unreleased flicks”.

The bubbly actress also admitted that it has not been easy given the new ways of doing things in the industry through un official gangs and clicks “the industry has really changed from the way it was when we started this Nollywood industry.
Then you got script on the basis of your abilities. But today what do we have? It has to do with who you know or pay allegiance to. So, some of us who chose to stand for professionalism find it difficult to get jobs, but we are getting bye and can only hope for the best, I am still here and very much in Nollywood because it all I know how to do.”
Odita has featured in a huge amount of Nollywood movies like “accident”, “Solid Affection”, “Evil mother” to mention but a few.
