An erstwhile spokesman of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, Ali Sanda Umar Konduga, also known Al-Zawahiri, has been re-arrested by the police in the house of Senate Leader, Ali Ndume.
The suspect was believed to be mentally unstable was recently released from prison after he had served for three years .He sneaked into Ndume’s house,the representative of the Borno South Senatorial District in the green chamber on Sunday night.
He was beaten black and blue when he was caught. A source revealed that“As luck will run against him, Konduga came back again to the house on Wednesday at about 4pm, where he was identified by some close associates of Ndume who used to accompany the senator to the Federal High Court in Abuja then.
“Policemen in charge of G.R.A police station were alerted and rearrested Konduga. He is now in police cell, while Senator Ndume has been informed.”
Both Konduga and Senator Ndume was arraigned before Abuja High Court.
