Nollywood actress, Esther Nwachukwu, has claimed that Jennifer Awele, the wife of the late actor, Junior Pope, did not give him peace when he was alive.

On how she was aware of the situation, the thespian said the deceased told her some terrible things about his wife before he died.

She revealed that she was into a romantic relationship with the late actor, adding that she still had his name tattooed on her body.

She pointed out that because the deceased liked to remain in the spotlight, he was always posting pictures and videos of his family even though he was unable with his union with his wife.

According to her, from December 2023, he stopped posting pictures of his wife like before, saying that was when they started having issues, adding that sometimes, he would not sleep in his house, but would rather stay in hotels.

The actress said she was sure some people who were close to him knew about it, but that because he had painted himself as a good husband online, he did not know how to tell people about his issues, which was why he died in silence.

Nwachukwu criticised Junior Pope’s wife for coming out so soon instead of taking time to mourn her husband, saying that “A grieving wife wouldn’t have come out barely two months after the death of her husband. She came out and acted like all was well, and because many Nigerians like eye service, she decided to dress in black, so people would think she was mourning.”
