Esan United Youth Worldwide, a Socio Cultural Group is the umbrella organization of Esan Youths. The affairs of this organization are piloted under vibrant leadership of
Chief Sunny Evbodaghe who is the president –General.
Chief Sunny Evbodaghe, an accomplished businessman, philanthropist and community leader on behalf of the organization and with the consent of every member of the organisation hereby unequivocally and without reservation adopt and endorse the Comrade Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Adams Oshiomhole for a second term in office to complete the good work he has started.
Before going further, our organization recognizes the immense contribution of our father, the Oba of Benin in charting developmental direction for the people of Edo State and his support has in no small measure contributed to the good works of Governor Oshiomhole’s administration.
The Onogie of Esan land and other leaders of thought in the Esan land have expressed their whole hearted support for the indefectible comrade governor. We in Esan land are quite impressed as the governor has given meaning to the age long saying that the “wisdom of Solomon has nothing to do with the age of Methuselah”.
On this note, we would be the first to acknowledge that the world is changing. The old ways of doing things would no longer work hence, it’s time for a new generation of leadership and we have been blessed in this great state to have no other person than Governor Oshiomhole to lead us into the promise land. He has already started the journey, and it’s our duty to see that he completes his great plans by electing him into the office for the second term come July 14, 2012. On this note, we call on a great industrious son of the soil, Chief Anthony Anenih to lend his support to the governor.
We in Esan United Youths world Wide, Socio Cultural Group recognize the invaluable contributions our father Chief Anenih has made to Esan land in Particular, Edo State and even Nigeria in general. We realize that experience can never go out of fashion and we lend his support to the governor.
We call on our highly respected Chief Anenih to take the Governor as his son and play a fatherly role in advising and guiding the governor in his effort and resolve to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to Edo State. Our revered Chief Anenih should discountenance all the political jobbers and rodents surrounding him and who wish to ride on the influence of the amiable chief to gain political patronage while making the great man appear as if he’s fighting our beloved governor.
Our unreserved endorsement of Governor Adams Oshiomhole is based on the glaring fact that he has shown that he has extraordinary gifts of leadership and character, which make him the person that can deliver Edo State at this moment of history.
The governor is a very intelligent and God fearing leader who is irrevocably committed to bettering the lot of the average residents of Edo State. He has provided free education to pupils whose parents are from diverse parts of the country, with free textbooks also provided for the use of such pupils. The students of the Amrose Alli University, Ekpoma are enjoying an unprecedented reduction in school fees, from the astronomical fees impose on the students by previous administrations in the state.
There is indeed no area or sector that has not felt the impact of the transformational leadership of Governor Adams Oshiomhole since he was sworn in.
We also recognize the fact that, our comrade governor is able to achieve all he has done during his first term in office, because he has followed the manifesto of our great party, The Action Congress of Nigeria ACN, faithfully, and he has put Edo state along the path of positive change and progress just like all ACN’s controlled states.
We have the sincere belief that Governor Oshiomhole’s knowledge and experience in the labour world and even in the last couple of years as governor, stand him apart from any other contestant by miles, and make him the best person to lead our beloved state for the next four years.
The governor has, indeed, shown even to the greatest of foes that he has unrivaled skills in matters of Edo state’s economic and infrastructural development and doing so with so much passion and commitment that all true sons of Edo State are well pleased. New roads are being commissioned regularly across the state and old roads are re-built. Schools are renovated; most of all in Esan land there water in every nook and cranny.
We were told by previous administrations that Esan land is dry and it would be difficult or impossible to sink borehole to get portable pipe borne water for the good people of Esan land, but today, the hardworking governor has proved previous administrations wrong as he has successfully sunk boreholes in every corner of Esanland and our people now have portable water, our people are no longer dying of water borne diseases. This achievement has been replicated all over Edo State.
The members of Esan United Youths worldwide are firmly convinced that Oshiomhole’s securing a second term in Edo State will be beneficial to all stakeholders and we are consequently urged every stakeholders to give the governor support in election of July 14 by voting massively for the comrade governor and ACN. We are indeed happy and actively endorsed the governor for a second term in office.
We commend Governor Oshiomhole for his strong resolve to remain focused, despite the antics of political opponents to distract him. He should do even more to make Edo State, a true paradise on earth. He should not hesitate to discipline any official or contractors who cannot match his pace of work in the development of Edo State
