With eyes on the international film market, some Nigerian film makers have come together to produce a world class epic film titled, Ela.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Olasco Films, Alhaji Akeem Olatunde, the multi-million naira film which will be shot in Kwara, Osun and Edo states is expected to parade the best artistes in the Nigerian film industry.
Coming from the stable of Olasco Films, the movie will be produced by veteran movie producer-director, Tunji Bamishigbin, who sits atop Rockview Entertainment, with support from the Kwara State Government.
The Project Consultant, Femi Jolayemi of Omega Entertainment, says Ela will surpass the everyday Nigerian movie that people are used to ”because we are using the best hands in the industry. Besides, it will be shot in a couple of languages that would give it global acceptance.” The movie would also be used as a platform to discover new stars in the make-believe industry, he added.
