Nigerian singer and former member of the music group P-Square Paul Okoye has spoken on how he was almost defrauded by a Nigerian who claimed to be the Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on instagram.
A man with the stolen identity of the traditional ruler on instagram is in the police custody after he has been arrested for impersonating.
The culprits runs an instagram account with over 262, 000 followers.
He last posted on this platform 2 days ago were he shared a photo of the emir playing with little children.
The media aide to Sanusi had issued that the emir does not run any social media platform or is paying anyone to do so.
Paul Okoye has shared the Whatsapp between him and the man after news that he has been arrested went viral.
Paul said that the said emir had asked him to send 5million to one account with reasons that he is having difficulty using his internet banking at that time.
