The stage is set for the release of the second album of Orimipe Olatubosun, eldest son of the late highlife music maestro, was born to Dr. Orlando Owoh.
This is coming about five years after the release of his debut album prior to the death of his father; titled: “Kenneries Transformation” in 2012, after he recuperated from the shock of his father’s death.
Call him a chip off the old block, and you could be stating the obvious, as he not only looks very much like his father, he also sings like him as well has the same baritone voice as his father.
It has reached advance stage. We hope to release it in third week of May this year. “Orimipe plays highlife like his father, but modernised highlife.”
