On Sunday, July 28, 2013, children of Little Saints Orphanage in Lagos had the opportunity to mingle with some celebrities, which they had only before then seen on television. It was the monthly celebrities birthday bash organised by Lee Magazine that afforded them the privilege to get that.

The event was held amid pomp and pageantry. Its last edition was held in honour of celebrities born in the month of June and July.

The party, going away from its tradition, took place at an orphanage in Lagos as against its usual club party. The Little Saints Orphanage in Ogudu, had the likes of Jaywon, Doris Simeon, MC Ice, Dipp and others playing and having fun with children of the orphanage, who had a sense of belonging coming in contact with the stars they see on television.

Topmost female guru on the wheel of steel, DJ Frizzie made sure there was never a dull moment during the event. The party was anchored by Frank O’Nero and there were lots of gifts for the children such as school bags, T-shirts amongst others. There were also dance competition between the celebs and the children.

According to the organiser, Lydia of Lee magazine, “We are grateful to God for sustaining us this far and helping us to remain consistent. We are focused on taking our monthly celebrity birthday party to the next level.”
